The Mission of MatGloCo Ministries

Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
18 Then JESUS came to them (the eleven disciples) and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the end of the age.

Jesus Taught Us To Pray

Luke 11:1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When He finished, one of the disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
Luke 11:2 He said to them, "When you pray, say:
"Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. {Luke 11:3} Give us each day our daily bread. {Luke 11:4} Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation."
Matthew 6:5 "But when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men......
Matthew 6:6 "When you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
Matthew 6:9-14 "This is how you should pray"
"Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
{10} Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
{11} Give us this day, our daily bread.
{12} Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
{13} And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
{14} For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly
Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins,
your Father will not forgive your sins.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me,
I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see.
Twas grace that taught my heart to fearand grace my fear relieved.
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.

The Scriptures in the Bible are ideally suited for any and every occasion. It is therefore essential for you to be thoroughly equipped with the Scriptures. The more equipped you are, the more effective you will be in helping others and your self. Monday Night Prayer Blog is designed to uplift and inspire us through the Scriptures. Some of us will receive the Word and the Word will lift us up, others of us will take the Word and share what we receive with others. Whatever the effect, we will be better for having heard the Word of God. To God be the glory. Amen.

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my
fears.

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not
ashamed.

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all
his troubles.

The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and
delivereth them.

Peace to you all who are in Christ Jesus. AmenJesus Christ is the Son of God. Our redeemer. The Lord. Our Comforter.

Take a look in the 5th book of 1st Peter,
Here we find Peter giving advice two fold. In verse 8 of chapter five, Peter tells us to 1. be sober and 2. be vigilant.
And he goes on to tell us why.
How many of us know that the devil is a liar? Amen.
Most of us are aware of the devil as a liar.
But, Peter introduces another characteristic of the devil,
and it applies directly to you and me.
Peter says in verse 8 of chapter 5,
be sober, be vigilant, because YOUR,
(point to yourself and say "MY").
Because YOUR adversary the devil.
Doesn't that make it extremely personal for you and me?

Prayer

Matt. 5:1,2 1 Now when He (Jesus) saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain side and sat down. His disciples cam to Him.

2. And He began to teach them, saying: Matt 6:5 "But when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men.

Matt 6:6 When you pray, go into your room, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matt 6:7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Matt. 6:8 Do not be like them (pagans), for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

Matt. 6:9-14 9 This is how you should pray: "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name,

10. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

11. Give us today our daily bread.

12. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever.

Amen.

14. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, Your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.
